Stage 4 of 5: Beta
The problem
Hundreds of public sector sites are still on Drupal 7, which is out of support. Every team rediscovers the same migration gotchas.
01 About this project
Inside the toolkit
- Audit: a Drush command that inventories content types, fields and contrib modules
- Map: YAML templates for common D7 patterns (Field Collections → Paragraphs)
- Run: incremental migrations so you can cut over section by section
drush gddn:audit --format=csv > audit.csv
drush migrate:import --group=gddn_d7 --update
02 Who needs this
Every “we need this too” tells the team where their work will be reused. One stroke per organisation.
GDDN is a members-only network for people working on Drupal in government. Join to tell this team your organisation needs it too.
